Irvine, California - The Blizzard made Starcraft 2 Dota map will be released around the time of the Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm expansion.
Blizz Dota - Blizzard's answer to Dota 2
This will be the 4th official Blizzard Starcraft 2 UMS after games like Aiur Chef, Left 2 Die and StarJeweled.
About Blizzard DOTA:
Blizzard DOTA is an official custom game inspired by the Defense of the Ancients custom map for StarCraft 2. Unlike other stand-alone DOTA-style games like Heroes of Newerth and Dota2, Blizzard DOTA will be dependent on the Starcraft 2 engine - Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm is required to be able to play this custom map. Blizzard DOTA will feature heroes from various Blizzard universes like Warcraft, Diablo and Starcraft.

you don't need the expansion to be able to play Blizz Dota and they even considering releasing it as a standalone game in the future.

ReplyDeleteyea it will be free....but there are going to be some cool stuff that you can buy, The way I understand it is going to be much like HoN or LoL or BoI.
