Dota 2 Korea Launch Details

Seoul, South Korea - Valve and Nexon's collaboration for the upcoming free to play AOS, Dota 2 will soon be revealed in South Korea. To hype up the Dota 2 KR launch, the following details have been revealed to the Korean public:

2 Billion South Korean Won (1.77 Million US Dollars) 2013 Prize Pool
Professional Korean Dota2 players will be competing for a total of 2 Billion Won prize money for the year 2013. Various tournaments have been set up by Nexon to encourage the growth of Korean Dota2 teams and help market the game to the number one spot in the peninsula.

Dedicated Korean servers
With dedicated Korean servers, Dota 2 Korea will also feature global play. There will be no region-lock and Korean gamers will be able to fight online against the best Aeon of Strife genre gamers from all over the world.

Localized content
The game will be fully translated in Korean (text, audio) and all updates for the Korean version will be pushed out together with the rest of the world.
